Confederation for Quality in Early Childhood Care and Education (CQ-ECCE) is a not-for-profit initiative committed to advancing quality standards in early childhood education across India.

By submitting this nomination form and participating in the India Early Childhood Excellence Index 2025 (“Index”), the applicant acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1) Voluntary Participation
Participation in the nomination and evaluation process is entirely voluntary and based on self-declared information submitted by the preschool or daycare. CQ-ECCE does not mandate or enforce participation under any government regulation.

2) Self-Declaration and Documentation
Initial shortlisting is based on information self-declared by participating institutions. Final confirmation and scoring will be based on an online audit of documents submitted. CQ-ECCE reserves the right to verify or reject any claims, or to request additional documentation at its sole discretion.

3)Independent Recognition
CQ-ECCE is an independent professional body and is not affiliated with any government authority or accreditation council. Recognition under the Index and listings on our platforms are designed to promote quality benchmarks and do not substitute official registration or regulatory approval required by law.

4)Index Evaluation Parameters
Evaluation under the Index is based on CQ-ECCE’s 13 quality parameters using an AI-assisted analysis system. Scores out of 1000 reflect alignment with CQ-ECCE’s standards and are not official rankings or performance ratings under any government system.

5)Membership and Associated Services
Preschools shortlisted among the top 1000 from all participating institutions will receive recognition, certificates, and eligibility for CQ-ECCE Membership. Any fee charged is solely for facilitating professional services such as

2) Digital profiling and listing
3) Certificate logistics
4) Special access to events and training

CQ-ECCE does not sell awards, rankings, or recognitions in any form.

6)Usage of Logos and Credentials
Authorized preschools may use CQ-ECCE’s official membership logo, audit badge, and certificates only as granted. Misuse, misrepresentation, or unauthorized use of the CQ-ECCE name, badges, or materials is prohibited and may result in revocation and legal action.

7)Right to Modify
CQ-ECCE reserves the right to revise or amend the nomination process, evaluation framework, service structure, or benefits at any time, without prior notice.

8)Limitation of Liability
CQ-ECCE endeavors to maintain transparency and fairness in its procedures. However, it shall not be held liable for any loss, misinterpretation, or consequence arising from participation in the Index or use of its recognitions, badges, or content.

Check the Credentials: Verify the qualifications and experience of the people running the daycare. Ensure they are properly trained in early childhood care.

CCTV is Not Enough: Having CCTV cameras is good, but it’s important to ask if the staff regularly checks the recordings and whether you, as a parent, can access past footage.

Staff Training: Ask about the training staff receive. They should be trained in child development, care, and safety measures to ensure your child’s well-being.

Emergency Procedures: Find out if the daycare has a clear emergency plan. In case of accidents or natural disasters, there should be procedures in place to keep children safe.

First Aid Training: Ask if the staff is trained in basic first aid, such as how to handle choking, or if there is a nurse or doctor available on-site or on call.

Fire Safety: Check if the daycare conducts regular fire drills to ensure that the staff and children are prepared in case of an emergency.
